Liverpool FC Complete Szoboszlai Deal
Hungarian Star Signs for Reds
Dominik Szoboszlai has completed a move from RB Leipzig to Liverpool FC, becoming the Reds' second signing of the 2023 summer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Anfield for several months, and the deal was finally confirmed on July 2, 2023.
Szoboszlai is a highly-rated young player who has impressed for both club and country in recent seasons. He made his debut for Hungary in 2019 and has since gone on to make 25 appearances for his country.
At club level, Szoboszlai has been a key player for RB Leipzig, making over 100 appearances for the German club. He has scored 25 goals and provided 20 assists in all competitions for Leipzig.
Szoboszlai's arrival at Liverpool is a major boost for the Reds, who are looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season. The Hungarian is a versatile player who can operate in a number of positions in midfield.
He is expected to make his debut for Liverpool in the pre-season friendly against Manchester United on July 12.
